The pitch in 30 seconds
If you're running a solo or small fund, you already know the problem: deal flow lives in email threads and Notion, diligence is copy-pasted from a template you update once a year, Friday portfolio review is a spreadsheet scrub, IC memos get written from scratch, and founder relationships rot between calls.
Investor OS replaces all of that with a Monday-to-Friday loop that runs itself. Monday morning you get a deal brief. Before every founder call you get a 2-page prep doc. Friday afternoon you get a portfolio pulse + IC memo drafts. Runs in your own Claude environment.
Built by a former seed-fund MD who deployed $55M across 40+ AI managers. The same system, packaged for GPs, scouts, and emerging managers who want disciplined portfolio management without the overhead.
A week in the life
Monday 7:00 AM — Deal brief fires automatically
Claude reads your calendar, email inbox, and CLAUDE.md deal cards.
Output: top 3 deals to focus on this week, portfolio founders who need follow-up, new inbound worth reviewing, stale pipeline items, and a quick market pulse. You read it over coffee. By 7:30am you have a clear week and know exactly what to prioritize.
Before every founder call — Founder-call-prep fires on demand (or auto 30 min before)
DealCo call at 2pm. A 2-page prep doc drops in at 1:30pm.
The deal card from CLAUDE.md, last interaction recap, open diligence items, term sheet status, three continuity hooks you can drop, and a quick gut-check on the investment thesis. Hard ban: do not bring up valuation expectations until they've named their number. You read it. Takes 3 minutes. You walk into the call grounded.
Wednesday afternoon — Build an IC memo on DealCo
Open Claude. Run the investment-memo skill. Paste in diligence notes.
Three minutes later: a structured IC memo — team, market, product, metrics, terms, risk, conviction score — ready to drop into your fund's Notion or send to partners. (v1.1 — coming soon)
Friday 4:00 PM — Portfolio pulse fires automatically
Portfolio review drafted. Partner update ready.
Founders who had a good week — send a quick note. Founders who need a nudge — draft a follow-up. Portfolio companies approaching their next round — flag for LP updates. Metrics that moved. Any terms that need attention. And a one-paragraph partner update draft, ready to send.
Saturday (optional) — Quiet diligence hour
Open Claude. Paste in new pitch deck or term sheet. Run the diligence-dossier skill.
Or don't — the pack fires Monday 7am regardless. Saturday is optional. (diligence-dossier: v1.1 — coming soon)

Who this is for
This is for you if
  • You manage a portfolio of 5–20 active investments (or are building one)
  • You're a solo GP, emerging-manager fund, scout, or angel with day-job constraints
  • Your deal flow lives in email threads and Notion (or Airtable, or a spreadsheet)
  • You write IC memos and portfolio updates from scratch every week
  • You want to run a disciplined Monday/Friday review loop without the overhead
Not for you if
  • You manage 50+ portfolio companies (you need a real CRM, not Claude)
  • You're a large fund with a deal team and formal diligence process already (this complements, doesn't replace)
  • You're a purely passive LP with no active portfolio work
  • You don't trust Claude with deal flow data (start with a sandbox deal first)

Frequently asked questions
What about my data and deal confidentiality?
Connectors are read-only by default. The pack runs in your own Claude environment — Anthropic's data handling, not ours. Your deal flow, founder notes, and portfolio data never leave your Claude session. Per-deal redaction lists in CLAUDE.md let you mark which deals are NDA-bound or conflict-siloed. Claude will not cross-reference those deals across skills. Portfolio data is read-only — Claude cannot initiate outbound emails or calendar invites without your explicit command.
Does this replace Affinity, Capital allocators, or my CRM?
Keep them. The pack reads from your existing workflow — email threads, calendar, deal cards in CLAUDE.md. Your deal cards become the daily working surface. If you have a formal deal team and CRM, this complements but doesn't replace.
Do I need Granola?
Strongly recommended for founder-call-prep quality. Without it, the skill relies on calendar invites and email context. With Granola meeting transcripts, the prep doc is dramatically more useful — it includes what was actually discussed, not just what's in the calendar description.
Can I customize per deal?
Yes. Each deal card in CLAUDE.md has a redaction/confidentiality field. Mark any deal NDA-bound, conflict-siloed, or scope-restricted. Claude respects those flags across every skill and will not cross-reference flagged deals.
What's included today vs. v1.1?
deal-triage, founder-call-prep, and portfolio-pulse ship today. Diligence dossier and investment-memo ship as v1.1 — stubs are included in the pack with placeholder content so the structure is ready when the full skills ship.
Can I cancel?
Free during beta, so nothing to cancel. Uninstall the .plugin file when you want and your CLAUDE.md stays yours.
Does this work for scouts and angels?
Yes. Adjust the deal card fields for your deal flow size. The deal-triage skill works well with 1–5 active deals; scale the CLAUDE.md template accordingly.
