Frequently asked questions
Does this replace my CRM?
For a solo consultant with under 10 clients, yes. The CLAUDE.md client cards plus the Friday pipeline-and-billing skill cover what HubSpot/Pipedrive does for you today. If you have a real sales team, this complements but doesn't replace.
What if I use Notion or Airtable today?
Keep them. The pack reads from Gmail / Calendar / Granola, not from Notion. Your client cards in CLAUDE.md become the daily working surface; Notion stays as the long-term archive.
Do I need Granola?
Strongly recommended. The Friday status draft and Tuesday call prep are dramatically better with Granola meeting transcripts. Without Granola the skills still run, just relying on calendar invites and email context.
Can I run this with hourly billing instead of retainer?
Yes. The pipeline-and-billing skill has a utilization mode that tracks billable vs. non-billable hours from Harvest or Toggl. Retainer burn-down sections degrade gracefully if no retainer is set in CLAUDE.md.
Can I customize per client?
Yes. Each client card in CLAUDE.md has a "redaction" field where you can mark a client NDA-bound, conflict-of-interest with another client, or scope-restricted. Claude respects those flags across every skill.
Can I cancel?
Free during beta, so nothing to cancel. Uninstall the
.plugin file when you want and your CLAUDE.md / TASKS.md stay yours.What about my data and client confidentiality?
Connectors are read-only by default. The pack runs in your own Claude environment — Anthropic's data handling, not ours. Per-client redaction lists in CLAUDE.md let you mark which clients Claude is allowed to cross-reference and which it must keep siloed.
